Gourde is still a top 9 center, some say top 6, but what he mostly brings is huge playoff experience...He checks a lot of boxes to return to Tampa...
On Brock Boeser...
The Deadline Game is afoot! What I mean by that is the Canucks and Boeser have walked away from negotiations for a breather and the Canucks have let it be known that they will listen on offers...however, the two sides are still going to try and figure out an extension....so this news being leaked by the team is to kind of make the player think hard about how much he wants to stay in Vancouver? This happens every deadline with a few players...
On Marchand and the Leafs...
This one is way below the radar, but I have talked to a team that may be used to take on some of Marchand's salary, and was told that would mean Toronto or Vegas....
