Start here today…
There is no question that EP 40 has really had a rotten year. After the Canucks gave him a mega contract his performance went down and his confidence is shot…
So who is the real EP 40?
Is he the hesitant and choppy player that we have seen this season and in the 4 Nations?
Or
Is he the smooth as silk 100 point guy we have seen recently in the past?
An old NHL GM once told me that players don’t have great seasons by accident, but they do have bad seasons….And there are enough people out there right now that believe he could bounce back given a new set of circumstances….but of course his cap hit of 11 million is not an easy gamble to take… and the Canucks would want a lot for him. Remember, they moved Miller and kept him.
So my questions today are pretty simple…
1. Yay or nay, on EP 40?
2. Would you be excited if your team made a trade for him?
3. If Vancouver was to keep some cap space, how much would you require the to keeo to start to think you could make a trade?
