Caught in the void of the HB blackout and the vortex between Christmas and New Year, I forgot the Panthers play a matinee game against the Montreal Canadiens today…
With pick drop in an hour, we have to make this quick.
I’m a bit out of the loop lately with Florida (and hockey in general), but I know the Cats are banged up, but looks like they will get Jesper Boqvist and Tkachuk back this afternoon. The big man Mikkola is out, and Gadjovich is TBD.
Litter Box Cats provide the snappy scoop on MTL:
“
The Canadiens had their three-game winning streak come to end when they fell 5-4 in Columbus on Monday. Montreal is 6-4 in its last ten games and trying to stay relative in the wild card race. Nick Suzuki leads the Habs in scoring with 35 points in 34 games. Cole Caufield tops the club with 17 goals. 23-year-old rookie Jakub Dobes will make his first NHL start.”
Today will be my jumping off point to get back into the hockey groove. Risky, considering the Panthers always play bad on Saturday afternoons…haha.
Either way, nice to be back.
