The Montreal Canadiens ECHL affiliate hit another milestone over the weekend.

The Trois-Rivieres Lions began on Wednesday, a stretch of four consecutive road games against the Maine Mariners (Boston Bruins).
Wednesday: Trois-Rivieres Lions 1 - Maine Mariners 4
The Lions opened the scoring in the first period when Nicolas Guay found Xavier Cormier open at the faceoff dot to the right of the goalie, and the forward got the puck to the back of the net with a wrist shot. The Mariners took the lead with a consecutive power play goals while Cormier and Logan Nijhoff were in the penalty box. The Bruins affiliate added two more goals before the second intermission to obtain the win.
Friday: Trois-Rivieres Lions 6 - Maine Mariners 4
Maine led 1-0 through 20 minutes when Trois-Rivieres answered back with a pair of goals in the opening minute of the middle frame. First, Chris Jandric’s wrist shot from the blue line found a path to the back of the net, and 0:36 later, Andrew Coxhead lit the red light with a shot from the slot. Xavier Cormier added to the lead by redirecting Jakov Novak’s shot and 3:56 later, Brycen Martin’s blast ended up behind the netminder. The home team cut the lead with a power play goal, but Justin Ducharme restored it by redirecting a puck across the goal line prior to the intermission. In the opening minute of the third period, Isaac Dufort made a nifty move around the defenceman and then headed to the net for the goal. The Mariners scored two more times before the final horn.
Saturday: Trois-Rivieres Lions 3 - Maine Mariners 4
Trois-Rivieres answered back to Maine’s first goal as Nijhoff slid the puck between the pads for a power play goal. The Mariners added two more goals before the first intermission and held on to the two-goal lead through 40 minutes. During the first shift of the third period, Tyler Hylland cut the lead in half with a one-timer from the top of the faceoff circle for the team’s second power goal of the evening. Maine took advantage of Xavier Cormier’s infraction to retake a two-goal lead. Coxhead made it a one-goal game less than a minute later with a top corner wrist shot.

Anthony Beauregard was named the ECHL’s Player of the month for March. During that stretch, he obtained seven goals, and 20 points in 14 matches.
The Rocket recalled Vincent Sevigny on Wednesday morning following Gustav Lindstrom’s injury the previous match. Due to flight delays in his travel from Portland to Winnipeg, the defenceman arrived to the arena during the first intermission of Laval’s contest against the Manitoba Moose.

Friday’s win clinched the North division title for the Lions. They will face the Mariners once again on Wednesday before returning to Colisee Videotron to wrap up the regular season with a tripleheader against the Wheeling Nailers (Pittsburgh Penguins) starting on Friday.
