Nathan Bastian has inked a 2 year dealt $1,650,000 ($775k then $875K).

The 23 year old had the success he and Devils fans have been hoping for since drafting him in the 2nd round back in 2016 and carved out a nice role on this Devils team along with McLeod. He also adds a touch of physicality this Devils team is in need of.

A reliable role player every team needs and wants. And Coach Ruff has expressed his confidence using him on the penalty kill and critical points in the game. Never a liability.

Devils fans are happy to see this signing as he will contribute to this up and coming Devils team.

When I look at Nate Bastian I see John Madden "potential". A player that will play any situation needed and could excel as a threat on the PK.
