The Flyers have a matinee today as the kind of hot Blackhawks skate into South Philly. And there is a good reason to watch a preview of what could be an epic battle for the next decade. Could Bedard vs. Michkov be the new Ovechkin vs. Crosby? Crosby and Ovechlin went 1..2 in their draft year, and few doubt that had it been known Michkov would be able to leave Russia as soon as he did Bedard and Michkov would have followed suit..

Michkov is winning this season as Connor has struggled and admits to being frustrated. I get the feeling Michkov loves this kind of challenge so it should be fun to see if he can raise his game even more this afternoon.

Morgan Frost returns to the lineup..Very important game for Frost.
