The Four Nations games commence tomorrow evening from Montreal, Quebec, Canada featuring the United States of America, Canada, Sweden, and Finland. Four games will played over the course of three days in Montreal, followed by the championship games in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have only one representative on the current roster, and that is left handed defenseman Zach Werenski. Presently, the American coaching staff has him paired with Boston Bruins’ right handed defenseman, Charlie McAvoy, on the second pair. Side note, McAvoy and head coach, Mike Sullivan of the Penguins, are related.

Werenski averages the most minutes per game by a defender with over 45 games played at 26 minutes and 52 seconds. In 55 games this season, the blue liner has 59 points, inclining a 21 game scoring streak on home team ice, with a +10 and 29 penalty minutes. He is also the only American born defenseman with over a point per game.

All Four Nations’ rosters have stacked and strong rosters, as they have brought their best available roster in the eyes of the management and coaching staff.
