Gillis hasn't even asked him to waive yet. Hasn't had a conversation with him since he left town, that's according to the media here.

Not a question of heat here although the media is just as bad as TO. He was replaced by a cheaper, better (at least for the moment) player. He didn't want to leave until Gillis made it clear in the playoffs of his future intentions by starting Schnieder.

We'll see, but as of last night, I heard through the media (here) that no contact between Gillis and Luongo has occurred to date. Burke is waiting in the weeds until the price drops … He may very well end up in Florida too …
