At this point if you don't think the earth is getting warmer by factors directly relating to man, then you are just being stubborn. - mvp0207
Wow that is deep. How come there are record hot temperatures dating back over a hundred years before cars? Read up on the sun cycle and the earths proximity to sun and its cycles. The obvious potential answer is right there. |

To go really out on a limb i think fossel fuel is a misnomer in that petroleum is a natural byproduc, of what the earth produces at its core and is therefor a replenishable fuel.
Montana is proving what the USA could be if the government stayed out of regulating our natural resources.
they have 4 percent unemployment and their production capacity for petroleum continues to be raised. - molly2522
Here here, love this. Everyone acts like the earth was made and filled with x gallons of oil and now its gone, neglecting the fact that the earths core is extremely hot and oil is a byproduct of the earths rotation and other forces. Yes that is over simplistic, but great points. |

For one.
And just generally continually discussing their "Christian values". It's chicken, guys, not a crusade.
In-and-Out is much the same: on their packagin, they have religious references - e.g. they stamp "John 3.16", with other references to Revelations, Proverbs, John, Corinthians, etc. on other packaging items. Some are old testament, most are new testament - I don't want any of it.
I would feel 100% exactly the same were the owners of these companies Jewish and their proclamations more in line with my upbringing: I don't want any of it, and I don't wish to have my beliefs disrespected by having theirs shoved on me. - StLBravesFan
Humans only give others the power to offend them. This modern concept illustrates the woosification of America. I know that capitalism is a foreign concept to Public educated people, but everything is simple. Vote with your pocket book. The fact that so many people have to validate or elevate themselves by being offended by others ordinary conduct is the greatest form of weakness in the world. |

OK JJ, I am suspending myself for crossing the line. I will be on Clearwater beach for three days thinking about my violations. I will clean it up on my return. |

Some days you just can't (frank)ing win.
I'm not one for political chats in a hockey board. Sometimes, it's real interesting to see others views on things, and just how (frank)ed up people really are. |

Or even a discussion on ethanol or global warming? In all, it should just be kept to hockey, but the Chick-Fil-A situation is going to lead this thread into a religious or social war before long. - EKolb13

Well, I've seen enough crazy talk about "sun cycles" for one night. I'll catch you all tomorrow.
Hopefully it won't be an all out war over religion when I get up in the morning. |

Where's the cap room? Unless Doan intends to sign for $2.4 million, or he's willing to wait for Gillis to move Luser first, I can't see Vancouver as a serious destination for Doan.
Sure, Gillis can sign him and go over the cap, but what do you think that's going to do with Gillis' leverage in trading Luser? You know, that leverage that is pretty much non-existent as of now. It certainly can't help with that. If Gillis goves over the cap to sign Doan, he really isn't going to get squat for Luser. - EKolb13
Yup, but Gillis already has zero leverage anyway. To me it's a win win for Gillis. If he snags Doan then Lou is gone within a couple of days. Signing Doan allows him to walk away from Luongo for peanuts because the Doan signing would be equivalent to getting something decent for Luongo. Impact wise Doan's signing would far supersede dealing Luongo. Gillis can do both and come off smelling pretty good in public and media perception. If he can pull it off.
You can bet he already has offers on the table for Luongo. He's just waiting for whomever to cave and top up the offer. |

Gillis better be able to add thru free agency because he sure hasn't been able to draft anybody that makes it to the NHL. The only one that did was Cody H and he got rid of him.
And if he has a deal in place for Roberto, he's done a great job of keeping it under wraps. |

Before the nuckleheaders climb all over this, Hodgson actually asked to be traded. He wanted second line minutes and wasn't going to get that behind Sedin and Kesler.
I think he's sitting on offers, but if he has to, he'll pull the trigger in a heartbeat. He's really not under any pressure at the moment to move Luongo. Give it a month then we'll see … |

The winter ethanol adding pisses me off to no end, as well as the "oxygenation" for less emissions. Of course it produces less emissions, because it gets a less gas mileage since I'm going 220 miles a tank rather than 280.
FUN FACT: E85 is 15% gas so people don't steal it and drink it. 100% corn ethanol is edible and drunk juice. - JRoenick97
