Sabres have more than enough NHL Dmen.
Let's make a trade.

Why dont we have Pavel Kubina in the top six? I know he was hurt in the playoffs but that dude is huge. If there is a reason why he cant I didnt hear about it. I just assumed he was still a Flyer. Am I wrong?

- Flyers_1488

Nope. He is a UFA.

Who is this Ben Holmstrom???? I have not even heard of him.
I guess this might be a good trade for you, not for me!

Actually it is a bit overpayment, my opinion, on the Flyers end, but Holmstrom could be a potential 4th line grinder.

I find it somewhat interesting he's not back. He just hit a rough patch in the short period we had him.

Then again the team doctors know a lot more about him than I do.

He is big, but he is slower than D Hatch is now.

True. I think he can play a lot better than what we saw tho.

Ek saying Bomeester deal is between the Flyers and Wings. I honestly don't know what id give up fir the guy. Simmonds and a 3rd? A first and mid tier prospect? Im not crazy about JBo but at this point I have to seriously consider him.

Stop being positive. The Flyers suck, they can't draft and they will never win a Stanley Cup

if lilja comes back from injury and someone has done more than enough to fill in his role can we just waive him to the phantoms? or are we up against the 50 contract limit? this might be an ugly season defensively

Because he's on an over-35 contract, the Flyers are going to be stuck with Lilja's cap hit even if he's waived to the AHL. So might as well let him do his rehab and stick around team for depth.

I love those soft guys that miss 2 games in 3 years. Matty was a fine player who under different circumstances would have been a team mainstay. Unfortunately, the salary cap requires tough decisions.

He's an unrestricted free agent. Prefers to live/play in Florida at this point (allegedly turned down a two-year offer from Columbus this summer, but can't verify that). Tank appeared to be empty last season, and Flyers told him they were moving on -- that was before July 1, but the team still does not appear interested in even a one-year deal.

Unfortunately. Wideman signed a 5-year, $26.25 mil deal.

Any word on this mysterious injury he was saddled with?
