If we trade anything more than a 2nd rounder and a middle of the road prospect to Calgary I'll be irate.

Hell, I'm pretty sure I'll be irate if he dons a Flyers uniform this season.

Bouwmeester is far from awful. He's actually a solid all around defenseman. Just doesn't excel in anyone area. And for that Cap hit, he should. He would absolutely help the Flyers. But I can't take on that Cap hit. If he was in his last year, maybe.

Why wait. offer the islanders a deal for Visnovsky. it would have to be more than a 2nd rounder though since the Islanders pick will be earlier than the Flyers. I'm sure Visnovsky would drop the appeal to play in Philly.

I'm so sick of hearing this. It's such an unacceptable and asinine excuse for not drafting defensivemen in the early rounds. A team has to be able to develop players at all positions no matter the given track record of that particular position.
