I'd rather they do that but that's not what we are talking about, we're talking about the logic behind bringing in JBo. Also there's no guarantee that Homer can pick up a phone and make a transaction happen, we should all know this by now.

What are you willing to pay for Jay-Bo?

See that's the problem I have. His Cap hit is outrageous in my opinion.

As of right now? Absolutely.. but what if (big if I know) he was able to produce offensively with the Flyers..

Say 10 goals, 30 assists, 40 points, +15, 23 minutes a night... Yea, I get that he would still be over paid, but how over paid. Its the impact he would have on the team that has me even thinking about this.

that's a good question, maybe a low end forward and a pick no higher than 2nd rounder. If we're going 1st rounder then they can select from adirondack. Again we go Pronger price and something in my possesion might not be functional the next day.

Bouwmeester for a 3rd rounder is my max with a prospect.

I'm willing to bet that doesn't get it done.

exactly. If Mez didn't go down I don't think we'd be having this conversation.

Homer offered Feaster a year supply of cheesesteaks and that is very tempting

Another player available is Niklas Hjalmarsson. Stay at home defenseman with 2 years left on his deal at 3.5M

that's what you're missing, the Flyers need a puck mover they have plenty stay at home types. It's all about the right mix and frankly the Flyers imo don't quite have a proven mix.

He can move the puck. Not missing anything. Averages 20mins a night but also sits behind two studs in Seabrook and Keith.

Can provide minutes on the PK.

he doesn't even get 20 points on an offensive team. How much of a puck mover is he? Is he even available? Also if he's bringing what JBo brings the Hawks wouldn't have went for Oduya at the deadline.

Redundant. Have to be concerned about the mix.

Definitely food for thought.
