It is really slow, a few regulars have some things going on, Big_Dion is on his honeymoon, Bruce just got back to work from holidays and has to catch up on jobs, Colin and Wolfos412 are busy pursuing new things and the rest is no hockey to discuss except the Marlies.
edit: and Frenchie doesn't like us anymore. |

Don't worry, Ek has come up with a solution to the lockout.
I expect games by Monday.

Maybe we should (figuratively speaking of course) take the Stanley Cup ownership to court and have it presented to the winner of the Woman's league for example if the NHL season is not started by November 1st, if it is not started then the Stanley Cup will be awarded to different amateur or pro teams ever year and the NHL loses the right to that Trophy.
Yeah I'm pissed, lol. |

Big Dion would do well to establish right away in the marriage, starting on his honeymoon, that hockey related things take 57% of his time.
He then can negotiate back to another number in his next contract.
If he starts with anything less than that he will be hockey free within a year.

Colborne, Kadri and Gardiner are on the team, Frattin is rehabbing from injury, Mckegg, Ross and Devane are also on the team but Devane has an injury as well. |

The Stanley Cup does not belong to the NHL, a court can rule and force it to be awarded to another league which was my point. I know it won't happen, the article was a great read though.

He gets a little emotional with the Leafs here but he is a good guy and his wife seems like a really cool girl. |

I've never met the woman, but I'd probably describe her differently:
- a really patient girl
- a really forgiving girl
- a really blind girl

Ek's solution is an argument devised by an 8yr old with a learning disability. |

I read that it takes only 8 votes from B.O.G for a deal to be accepted or proposed (someone correct me if it is wrong) and not by a majority vote, so if this is correct, it means in Bettman's NHL, the money losers like Nashville and others vote means more to the league than the money makers like Toronto, Montreal, Philly, Vancouver and New York, the ones who are keeping the league a float, yet imo, the money losers hold more power in the negotiations, something is terribly wrong with this picture but it is after all the NHL.
As for Bettman, name me one other commissioner in any league to have three work stoppages during the same amount of time Bettman has been running the league, it is an embarrassment to the game and the fans.
Yeah I'm pissed there is no NHL hockey, every one in charge needs to go, these fools can't run a league properly.
edit: Atomic Wedgie posted the article in Ek's blog. |

Not really, Bettman and the weakest 8 franchises can still dictate how the league is run, getting rid of Bettman is a lot harder to do though, stupid owners for agreeing to such terms. |
