Actually, I think the Oilers organization would love to dump Horcoff, and it has nothing to do with what he gets paid. He has a bad attitude. I've heard the same about Ryan Smyth too. I look forward to the day when the 3rd line is Paajarvi/Lander/Pitlick |

Ales Hemsky is playing point-per-game hockey right now for Pardubice of the Czech league. That's great news for the Oilers if they want to move him.
Yes just like Hudler being a point per game player in the KHL helped the Wings trade him with his lower salary and lesser injury list. Good luck with that. |

I watched a couple of bulldogs games... i'd give stort another shot, theres less of those heavy weights in the nhl now days so he wouldn't get pounded as much. He always gave it his all, but you can't play both hordi and stort.
Still think the oilers are soft even with Thor in your line up but its better than hemmer playing there.
Dubs needs to get in some pro games asap. He can be effected by the lock out the most.
What about Teubert? He's been catching the eye of a lot of people latley with the way he stands up for his team mates, and making some enemy's at the same time. Sounds like he has passed Plante on the depth chart as well.
PRV is putting up some points as well, IMO he'll be a 3rd line winger that can chip in some goals. Hopefully he can improve on his defencive game as well. When Smyth is gone he can fill that gap. Also could be moved up in the top 6 if there is a few injuries. |

Top six def needs another forward with size. You really think Hartikanen is gonna be a top six winger? I bet PRV gets a better look up there before Harti. None the less the Oilers are gonna be exciting to watch. More size in that top six is gonna open the ice for the kids to do work on the western conf. |

The thing with Paarjavi is that while he's got decent size he doesn't use it effectively. Hartikanen on the hand uses his size. Size is good but you still need to will to use it. |

If we have a healthy Hemsky here's an idea. Keep him. With how we've finished you can't say we have enough offense. Keep Hemsky and either move Yakupov/Hemsky to the off wing or instead. Put Yakupov on the third line to start the season. If Hemsky falters or Nail shines then switch it up. But then we could actually have 3 lines that could score. |

A third line Center who makes 5.5mil might put the Nucks over the hump
edit: We can even throw in a back up goalie with a cup ring to sweeten the deal. |

I think Bozak is coming our way to play that role. |

I didnt really mean for like just hitting everyting in sight size. But hes got the size and speed to have a puck control game. Which I like alot. |

I'm not sold on his offensive abilities transferring to the NHL level for a top 6 role. Seems more like a third liner to me. |

He's an interesting case because as a rookie he notched 15 goals which would hint towards offensive capabilities but this last year exposed his lack of offensive creativity. If he does charge the net and play similar to hall I see Maybe a second or Third line tweener scoring 20 a year. If not maybe third line and 15 goals is his ceiling but regardless will be an nhler. I hope he be shaped into an excellent defensive forward. |

I like Hartikainen on the top line with the kids. He's aggressive, and can create some room for the talent to work with. Plus he can pitch in down low and clean up the garbage goals. |
