102 Stefan Liv (Goaltender) Sweden Detroit Red Wings (from Nashville) HV 71 (Sweden) - Symba007
For his teams? HV71 in SEL, Siber in KHL, Grand Rapids in AHL, Toledo in ECHL. In regard to Nashville, I'm going to assume they're referring to Detroit obtaining the pick from them, as Liv was drafted straight to Detroit.

The answer to the last one has to be someone who played in something like Lemieux's retirement games both times. Or Hasek? Or gretzky, against him as a player, and a coach.

I'll tell you that you're thinking right, although one of the two is a bit more obscure which makes the occurrence all the more interesting...

Most like Hasek then, his retirement here, and in Europe.

Hmm maybe all the clues a tad obscure because I have yet to find a calder winner that has played on 7 teams with all non-original six teams... So perhaps a CHL rookie award??

I know who it is, but I don't have answers to all the clues yet.

yes, CHL rookie of the year. Played for 7 teams, including Nashville, Vancouver, Carolina, Edmonton, Calgary, Florida, and the Quebec Nordiques. Won the GOAL scoring title in the Swiss league (I won't give the year, makes it too easy).

Not those teams, but yes, a ROY in one of the CHL leagues...

Hmmm, I was looking at Martin Gelinas. He comes very close....First round pick, 7th overall to the Kings. Played against Hasek in his final NHL game, played for 7 different non-original six franchises, won the goal scoring title in the Swiss league....

But he didn't make his NHL debut in the playoffs. - prock
Cliff Ronning? Fills number 3 in the WHL. Mustve been drafted in the first round of WHL draft. On a Galaxy. So its a pain to look this up. - _Zippy_
Yes and the last clue ties in with Patrick Roy in his final game as a midget and Roy's final playoff game... Oh wikipedia how i love you so. Nice job man.
EDIT: Shawn did you use ROY for Rookie of the Year as a subtle hint? Or was that coincidence?

I literally used wiki because it has a debut and milestone section and it shows first games of a player with a special asterik if they debuted during the playoffs.

What are the odds that I could actually find another player that so closely fits the description? First round pick, seven teams none original six, ROY in the CHL, a scoring title. That’s crazy.
