Your Fehr hate is hilarious at this point. The NHLPA is the only side that has made any concessions. No matter how this ends, the NHLPA will be losing something and the NHL will be gaining everything. The NHLPA just refuses to lose more than they have to.

But sure, I guess the players should have just agreed to 47% of HRR. And then 40% when there's another lockout.

right,. because?? its not like ive never criticized the players in all this, oh wait I did. its funny how the PA "diehards" can be critical of the PA but the other side cannot be critical of their side. You know what that is called?? Bias. No mater how (frank)ed up the league gets, no matter how the league (frank)s this up, it's never their fault. I've seen people complaining about how the PA supposedly keeps moving the target.... yet the league does it, and I hear nothing from the league ball huggers about that.

That's the world we live in, business owners need to change and adjust to keep afloat and competitive, it sucks and happens to everyone, the company I work for is re-orging., people have lost jobs. I don't agree with the changes, my options are to deal with it or look for other opportunities. If the players don't agree they have the option to do the same. Or throw away 2 million avg salary you will not recoup again because fehr says you can get more. I hope 250 players never play again like last lockout, no sympathy here.

The players acting like they are being 'bent over' and trying to draw sympathy from their hard working fans who made them millionaires is what turned me.

They should be much more thankfull they even have an oppertunity to make a beautiful living playing a sport they love.

agreed... but i expected it. not enough to make me change my views. this is about the negotiation and everything the league has done has soured me even more on them.

So the NHL Is the only business that ever has to cut expenses, cut people? reduce benefits or salaries?

Do you have any clue what has happened in pretty much every industry in the world over the last 5 years?

Of course the PA was going to make concessions. Under the last CBA they took home nearly NINETY percent of the profit. That is not reasonable. You are welcome to feel differently, whatever.

It is also wholly unreasonable to expect that ANY business will perfectly forsee the future and I don't recall the NHL making any such claims as to the enduring perfection of the last deal.

Finally... are you aware that the teams that "abused" (your words) the last CBA, are, in most cases, not the teams losing money.
