100% Agree!
Fehr has done a magnificent job. When this is all said and done, the players will come out in a much better position financially. Anyone can see that losing a years salary will not have a negative impact on players. Roenick will be the first to agree. Fehr is the best thing to ever happen to the PA. - laughs2907
And the League losing far more then the players have is working out great for them also. Bettman for President! |

Bettman cares about the game? I'm no fan of Fehr but Bettman cares about getting a good deal for his employers he doesn't care about the NHL. Glowing pucks, teams in Atl., Miami, Columbus, teams in markets that can't get support off ice, a team named after a disney movie. That is caring about the game? Not to mention 3 lockouts, not strikes but owner imposed lockouts to protect themselves from themselves. What about the gimmicky shootouts that were "for the fans" after 2005. I'm sorry but niether side gets more blame than the others unless you factor in teams in poor markets that can't support nhl teams which cause lockouts every so often so they can compete, then you have to blame poor business practices from the owners, who are greedy too. - killercam

Exactly! I agree 100%!
The MLB/NHL has identical revenue streams.. Obviously what worked for the MLB will work for the NHL. Anyone can see that! - laughs2907

I also like to ignore the variances between markets from time to time. Last year company A made 100 billion... Company B made negative 10 billion... Company C made negative 10 billion... Company D made negative 15 billion... Company E made negative 15 billion... Total profits within the industry is 50 billion... That's 10 billion per company, so the industry is in great shape |

Well played. Those cakes got what they deserved. Ambushing and then jumping into fat kid's mouths like they did. Those poor kids didn't have a chance.
Problem is, what are lazy american mothers going to feed their kids now? |

Company E should (frank)ing move to Quebec City or Markham and shouldn't be forced to pay same salary as Company A because of a stupid CBA that all the companies argued for. |
