How are the sides close to a deal?
NHLPA said they were close. NHL said last week that there is still a huge chasm to cross.
Somehow i don't see that being close and since the NHL gets up and walks out every time the NHLPA makes an offer or counter offer, I really don't see a season happening.
I hope I'm wrong. |

What does Original Six have to do with anything in this? My point was a fan of a team that has made the playoffs once in it's existance might not want to be throwing stones.
