Well, he was minus eight over that four-game pointless drought. Also doesn't have much talent around him apart from when he's been combined on a line with Couturier. Schenn's two way game has absolutely improved; which doesn't mean there isn't still room for more growth.

Thanks. Cant wait for the season to start. Still want to see his brother bring the pain to the penguins.
Does anyone have an update on G and Mezy? - FlyersFirst
Giroux is doing fine. He's been skating and hasn't had any reported setbacks. I think he's waiting to see if the lockout is resolved before making a decision about a timetable to return to Berlin.
Meszaros is status quo. Progressing, figures to play if there's a season but there's also an issue of allowing him as much time as possible to recover b/c a lot of players struggle for awhile after returning from achilles tears.
It turns out that Bryzgalov wasn't joking about the whole cosmonaut training/space suit thing. He really was at the Russian Federal Aerospace headquarters being filmed for a television segment at the time he told the Sport Express reporter he couldn't talk because he was doing cosmonaut training and wearing a space suit.

I think the Flyers are going to have some issues at the defenseman position if there is ever a Season this year.
NHLPA Executive Board voted last night,to give players a vote to AUTHORIZE Exec Board to chose to proceed on Disclaimer of Interest #TSN - ob18
It doesn't mean there will be disclaimer filed or, even if there is, it won't be rescinded before there is a CBA agreement finished. It's a required procedural step to make the decertification tactic possible. What it DOES do is turn up the pressure both on Fehr and Bettman to avoid their respective nuclear options.

#NHL announced today it filed a class-action complain in New York Federal Court, and an unfair labor practice charge with the NLRB. #NHLPA
Helene Elliott @helenenothelen
NHL just filed complaint in federal court in NY seeking declaration confirming the ongoing legality of the lockout.
This should seal what the players do & get even uglier
