Unfortunately it doesn't look like this is an indicator. looking at the Canuck's site, the remaining schedule lists only 39 games, so I don't think this is an indication an agreement has been reached in secret. It's the same schedule as opening day, ommitting everything prior to 1/15/13.

That penalty on Camara was a joke. Emotion call by the referees and they get it badly wrong, shouldn't have even been 2 minutes.

Lipon didn't deserve to be tossed either.

It always seems they call things a little different in the iihf events. I don't know how they determine stuff mind you sometimes I don't know how the NHL calls penalities either. Possibly they don't have incidental contact and anytime the head gets hit its a major.

There was no call on the ice...it happened after the refs met. Complete bullpoop call.

That said, grinder win by the boys...they'll be tough to stop imo.

I don't think so...more ice time for guys like Nuge, Huber, Strome, Rielly is a good thing.

These guys are used to playing 20-22minutes a night.

Are players counter offering 6 years, or is the league softening to 6 years?
Again, is the variability from league or players side?

The league can offer what it wants now, and deFuhr will just say they can get more and take this battle to court.

The season is over, so enjoy the World juniors and the Spengler cup.
