He is certainly playing "like" him. Yzerman made a great choice in him.

I recall watching the calder cup series last year and thinking, who the heck is this guy Conacher, and why didn't we get him in exchange for Aulie?

Boucher is always preaching "first on the puck" and during these first 3 games I have been amazed at how Conacher seems to finds the loose pucks. He counteracts his small size by positioning himself with open ice and consequently the puck finds his stick. After last year's Calder run with Norfolk I don't think stamina should be an issue especially given the shortened season.
