What a great WIN last night! Can someone please just CRUSH Phaneuf! Cheap shot artist who never stands up and fight for his actions, Dion "Turtle" Phaneuf.
Hate to see DP in net, however I do want the Isles to win. Lets just hope he cracks and finally sees that he needs to just go away.
In the department of wishes; I wish we could pick up Ryan O'reilly. Got to watch him a ton last season, he is a great young player. |

He does want to much money; however is is definetly not as bad as Subban. Is that possible that the Islanders can really say anyone wants to much money? The Islanders are still up and coming and with the move coming they have the real possibility of still having to over pay a bit to get the talent to come to the Island. 2-3 years from now that will not be the case, but for now it is how it is. |

first their not moving o'reilly...second he's not worth what it would cost... third if you did land him you would have grossly over pay him..no thanks...no reason strome and or nino can step in to top 6 minutes next season |

last nights win was huge because it's gonna get ugly tonight with Dp in net. Only. 10 hours until DP is giving up soft goals and looking up at his D like it's their fault |

Valid points, I just watched great play out of him last year and wouldnt mind seeing him on LI.
Strome is most certainly a STUD! Still hoping that it was coaching last year that hurt Nino. If his agent shuts up and Nino continues his strong play in the AHL I'm on board. |

it's comical watching him go post to post or even trying to get up off the ice. He gives them no shot tonight - Vukota
He just drops to cover the ground way to quickly and never gets up. It's hard to watch. I actually wind up feeling bad for the guy. |

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Carkner's response to Phaneuf was not enough? Understood Dion TURTLED (as he always does) and the refs where right in there. But at another point in that 3rd period someone should have sent a message to that D-bag Phaneuf! |

Nabby wasn't especially strong last night especially in the first. The Leafs were just that bad defensively. Though Nabby made some nice stops in the third to keep the Leafs out of it. Overall one of the better games I've seen in some time. Nice to see. Not the biggest Nabakov fan honestly but I've been impressed so far this season. |
