That's another concern, I'd rather not have stupid stuff turn into pissing contests between the PA and owners. - Jsaquella
And the more I think about it, it really doesn't affect the players. They're still going to get 50% of revenue. Any shortfall is taking care of by Escrow.
And to further your point of trades at a later time. Two players that could be traded are Visnovsky and Streit. Visnovsky could be sooner rather then later. That is another player that is counting against the Cap but isn't getting paid. |

Just buyouts
If teams aren't upfront there's ways to remedy it through the league, but for the most part teams don't mess around with that. - Jsaquella
yeah, it would be awesome to be able to buy Pronger out. |

They are no longer going to let Ovi skate through the O zone with nary a defenseman trying to stymie him-- oh. Not what you meant by Cap space. Sorry. - Flyskippy

True, but if it means a guy on a two way deal is making less in the AHL it could be an issue...still a minor one |

Sounds like Mez and Hartnell might be back in two weeks. #Flyers |

Still early, but at this point a solid 2 way forward and a young puck mover with potential down the road and a 2 way contract are what I'd look for. |

Actually Vishnovsky was taken off suspension today, passed his physical and is on the roster. |

Would have to be a player on a EL deal then if he's any good.

With the showing of Laughton and the solid play of McGinn I'd be Ok with the 13 forwards(assuming Sestito and Rinaldo re-upped) and 7 D men the team would have going into 2013-2014. However I think they'll want a little more experience. |

First game since the formation of the McGinn-G-Briere line that they didn't pin the other team in on their opening shift.... |

way to soft in their on end. no puck support and everyone just stands around waiting for the shot. keep doing that and its a matter of time till they get caught staring at the puck carrier as someone slides down the slot behind them wide open |
