Hopefully JVR gets the game winner in Winnipeg so I can call it a night.

overall, they played a good game. outplayed florida and deserved 2 points. imho, opinion of course. G, B, Coots, Schenn - those guys aren't scoring. making life difficult.
- hammarby31

Seems like it. The OT I thought they played well, Theodore held the fort. In all seriousness a beer league team wouldn't have looked any less competitive in the shootout. That was frightening how pathetic it was.

i thought they'd win in OT. i really believe the SO is a mental thing with them. it's amazing how bad at both ends they are. not putting this on bryz. he played a great game tonight.

Bryz has been the teams best player by a mile. No need to get on him at all. I would like to see him improve on breakaways/shootouts.

The shootout I kind of expected. You could see Florida playing for it to get to that.

Thats a team thing. Bryzgalov got beaten by two very good moves imo. Read did a lame 5 hole and Giroux (frank)ed up his attempt.

Bigger issue for me was failing on the two PP's late in the game. They are getting too predictable. Stop Giroux, and for the most part you generally stop the PP.

Yes sir Peanut. Special teams came back to bite them in the ass. Florida tied the game on the PP, and the Flyers PP came up empty.

I hate to be that guy, but they need to shoot more on the PP. They wait around looking for the perfect pass, sometimes you need to just get it on net.

Disappointed. The Flyers played a solid game, but failed to lock things down and get the win.

It did.

Its hard for me, but I do somewhat accept the year as an evaluation experience.

Before the season began I thought Voracek and Brayden Schenn were probably sure bets to be in the Flyers core for the future. Now I am not so sure.

I thought Read, although a guy I liked, was expendable. At this pont I would keep him over a lot of guys on the team. He has shown his worth in many ways. Grossman as well, has become a real rock on the defense.

On to the next game. Goodnight hooligans.

Pretty good game. Flyers took the foot off the gas going into the third and it was tilting slightly to Florida. The a PP and a score in 10 secs or something. Flyers closed strong and dominated the OT, but they get one point. That's what happens when you don't play 60.

Time for him to go where? Does he have a NTC, or NMC? He could get traded to a contending team that he could put over the hump. He won't be coming to Philly.

If the lack of scoring continues, something is going to happen sooner rather than later. Snider isn't going to sit back and watch this garbage very long.

The worst combination in any sport is a bad team, that can't score. It's bad for business. That being said, I hope this team just sits tight for the time being, there are no quick fixes.

Very little creativity coming from the back end right now. Yes they've been solid in coverages but you can see there is little to nothing in terms of puck rush goals. This is just the way they have to play. Kind of like the capitals recently

hey, they got a point when they deserved 2, but these things balance ouit. homer gets a scorer at the TDL and we'll make a good plyoff showing.

Not to Philadelphia, sadly. I love him, but the Flyers don;t need the cap implications and can't afford the cost.
