If Kimmo doesn't require some other surgery this offseason I think he'll come out of the gate much better next year than this year. I've got no problem with this deal
- eayost

Part of the reason he struggled this season was because he didn't play from May until January. He admitted himself that it'd take a while to get to 100%

I went last January. I thought it was a nice stadium all in all. Easy to get too (via train) and everything was state-of-art of course. I would recommend going.

I went a couple years back..I liked it too.. Tons of Flyers fans there too..

I was thinking the same thing.. for a lot of our guys, the first 10 games were like the preseason with the extended layoff. The last game, we were a lot tighter on D and that's a good thing.

Back when I was picking beans in Guatemala, we used to make fresh coffee, right off the trees I mean. That was good. This is poop, but hey, I'm in a police station...

He was always a big question mark here -- mostly because that's what his skating pattern was in the offensive zone: Skate down wing, circle behind the net, come out the other side and either turn the puck over or shoot wide.
- Flyskippy

I was actually more of a fan of him skating hard down the left side, then slowing down around the circles and just throwing it in front and hoping.

Anyone ever get up to the Prudential Center for Flyers - Devils games? Thinking of heading up next Friday and wanted to know if anyone had been to the Prudential Center and what they thought of it as a Flyers fan.

I was there for a playoff game last season.. Always tough having your team lose in another teams barn but didnt have any problems with their fans or anything like that

next 7 games are all winnable imo, FLA, CAR, TOR, WPG, NJ, MTL, NYI....gotta make a push in the standings....10 pts in the next 7 games, is that realistic?

Kris Letang
Dan Girardi

2015
Marc Staal

2016
Brian Campbell
Brent Seabrook
Keith Yandle
Dustin Byfuglien
Alex Goligoski
Kevin Bieksa
Dan Hamhuis
Braydon Coburn
Mark Giordano
Erik Johnson

I can see Homer going after J-Bo after next season, when/if Timonen retires. As long as J-Bo doesn't play lights out, he could likely be had for a little less than his current cap hit. I do not expect Girardi, Letang, Staal, or Seabrook to make it to UFA. Clearly that 2016 class has a lot I like, some of those names won't be available in a few years time but some will. Interesting that Yandle becomes a UFA when Coby does.

I think it is..NJ and Habs are tough games, but we can play Leighton vs Montreal and guarantee a shutout. LOL

Night train is doubtful tonight. Don't wanna rush him.. if he feels good the next couple days, let him play saturday.

$4 mill for the rest of the year isn't bad. I would be interested if we could get him for a 4th or 5th.

homer only goes after a vet guy like that if we're in contention come late march...so string some Ws together and let the speculation begin

i've found it can be a little weird in the cheap seats, some very big loud aggressive people who like to stand in the aisles during the game and YELL...

on the concourse and down a bit lower it has always been ok for me

Only time we were hassled up there was when the Flyers won (this was in the old building, mind you). Of course, one time we were there and my brother had popcorn thrown at him. It was so light and fluffy and dangerous!

I agree to an extent.. With all the games in the same conf, and mostly conf standings counting for seeding, ever game is crucial.
