Devils have a ton of depth at D. Volchenkov or Tallinder could be traded to the ave. Something like Tallinder/Volchenkov + Tedenby or Gelinas + 3rd round draft pick for O'Reilly could be good for both teams

Bryce Salvador?

I honestly am dumbfounded by the moves tha thave gone down in the past 4 games.

Why is huwick getting so much praise for being such a team player and a professional, he sucks, should not be in the lineup.
Why have call ups like Barrie and Sgarbossa just to healthy or limit their ice time, let the kids play.
Why do we claim Palushajon waivers just to healthy him. I thought it was nice pick up intitally, then thought about it.
If we had the mindset to claim a guy, why did we pass on a guy with more offesnive upsinde in Boychuk, or pony up the 5h for a guy like Loktionov.

They are really making it hard to support this team right now with all these bone head moves

Don't you guys need defensive D men? Tallinder is a guy who can move the puck decently. We have Greene and Larsson as two good puck movers but they aren't going anywhere. Harrold is our 8th D man right now but he moves the puck well. He has like no value tho so I doubt we would trade him. Gotto think when Lou trades on of our D men it will be Volchenkov or Tallinder.

Colorado won't be looking for a package of lesser players for O'Reilly. If hes traded we need a core piece coming back, no thanks.

I want Yandle personally, and everyone knows hes available for the right price.

I would also keep Hejda to be honest... Hes been the only other defender on the team besides Wilson and EJ that have performed or improved since the season started.

Hejda did start out a little slow defensively but was moving the puck well, now hes doing both. Hejda - Wilson looked good before Wilson went down...

I feel like they should try Hejda with EJ again, I know it failed once but Hejda is playing much better. Ideally though both EJ and Hejda need partners...

I was hoping Barrie would step up in that role but it has not happened. We need Wilson back and we need to trade Stastny or O'Reilly for Yandle.

Honestly Hunwick and SOB are fine as bottom 6 defenders as well. Zannon has been a MASSIVE failure, and ROB just hasn't been able to return to form at all. I thought SOB was one of our better defenders last night, he at least looked like he was trying.

If we are going to suck anyways, gtfo Zannon, I would rather see Barrie get the NHL time needed to grow his game.

This is getting ugly. Sherman was never the right man for the job.

Johnson will never be the defenseman envisioned when he was drafted.

If we are really so far apart with O Reilly re: term and salary...then why not just bite the bullet and move him? Or are they waiting for a month or two to get the best possible deal? Everything about this is pissing me off.

I am also for tanking in a shorten season, but if we are going to do it, lets do bit of a fire sale as well. Open up roster spots for next season. Trade anyone that has some deadline value like Stastny (for a Top 4D), Jones (another underachiving bad contract), Hunwick (pick), Zanon (pick), Hedja (pick) , The O'Bs (picks)
