Nothing to do with being 'objective'.
Big difference between 'objective' and constant negativity from certain posters and they know who they are.
Like I said , I cant wait till this team goes on a run and see what these same posters say then. - TerryPegs
I am as objective of a fan as there is.
I'm also constantly whining about the team..
As far as the team 'going on a run' it WILL happen. It does every year. Sometimes twice in the same season.
The result however is always the same..
In ANY other city, in ANY other 'business' Lindy and Darcy would have been let go after 5-7 years of failure. Yet, they get extensions. Rewarding failure trickles down to the players. From the top down changes are needed and Pegula opened his mouth at the presser when he bought the team and now he can't eat his words or he loses big-time face.
This organization is a joke and now apparently all the money in the world can't change it..

If we made a trade for Dubinsky or a similar player before the season began, then we would closer to a playoff spot then a lottery pick right now IMO - homiedclown
You should sign Jabari Scrutchins of the Harlem Rangers
Not go get into a big argument but can I ask why you think we should be so concerned with changing the captain rather than the coach? - sbroads24
I'm ok with firing Ruff
But to answer your question,
I'm a guy who thinks that the success or failure of a team is WAY more on the players than the coach
So when u see me "defending" Ruff,
It's actually me defending that idea more than the actual guy
NO coach is gonna come in here & make Leopold good defensively, or Regehr 3 years younger, or Pominville a good "leader"
IMO, we have no one worthy of being captain
And I'd also take the "A" away from Stafford and Vanek
Ruff likely won't be dealt with till after the season anyways
So let's start with holding the players accountable,
And figure the rest out from there

I respectfully disagree.....cant compare him to 32 or 8 cause of different roles.
25 has shown me zero, zip, zilch.....he plays scared, never goes into the corner and wins a battle, the second the puck is on his tape he passes it which isnt what they want.

Wow. What kool aid are you drinking today?
You wanna take the A away from Vanek? Pominville may not be the type of Captain you want, but he's not a bad captain either.

Yet you want to trade a guy that's supposed to possess all the leadership skills you could possibly ask for.
