who had a harder hit ott or mccormick?
- joshs

Ott for me, awesome hit, Kunitz was p!ssed and looked like a rag doll when he got hit, I loved Ott getting in Fleurys' face right near the end.

Both good hits, but for me McCormick's was more devastating.

Giguere is 2-0 this season...

His stat line is better than Miller's.

- keptupl8

Holy poop he still is! He's backing up an unpoven youngster, how the hell does that work out, he has a cup!

His stat line looks good because he played a period against the Sharks and didnt give up anything.

JSG - 2.88 GAA and 0.894 in 2 starts.

Miller - 2.90 GAA and 0.914 in 14 starts.

My favorite part of that was when he stood there, looked at him for a second, and then stepped into the doorway to the bench. It gave me a good chuckle.

they gave it to McCormick.

At the arena, they also gave him the "electrifying play of the game" and showed a good shot that he landed on Glass

I think most of us have to come to that conclusion by now.

Lindy cracks me up when I see him on the bench now, the look on his face, is like "I don't really know what to do" unless he gets sacked he could be in a early grave, I worry for his health.

Love the Miller interview.

I got an idea...how about you not make the team score 5 goals to win a agame?

How about you get your save % in the top 25 of the league? Although it's an improvement from where he finished the last 2 years (31st and 33rd)

How about you flat out just stop sucking...

It was a good hit, they both deserved it, I just liked Otts' better, McCormick did land on him pretty hard after the hit.

Hey, I have a great idea. Lets play without Miller and see how much he sucked and its not the team in front of him!

Whats that, our backup hasnt won a game since November of 2011?

I rag on Miller when he sucks, but tonight was nothing on Miller, early on the team had no hustle, Ruff even had to call use his timeout in the first 2 minutes! He did give them a chance to win the game, but they couldn't do it

I was at the game, so it can be hard to tell sometimes because I'm in the end that Miller is only in once, but were any of the goals he gave up just straight up goals? Or were they all deflections?

???

JSG - 2.48 GAA, .919 is his stat line. We could edit out some of Miller's numbers and make him look like a Vezina candidate if that helps...

No, actually, you haven't always been respectful to me. You were nasty to me when I said that Leopold wasn't that bad (this was before the 11-12 season even started). So don't get all holier than thou with me.

If you think me telling you that I don't think Girgensons is going to be traded is me being condescending, then honestly, you need to grow some thicker skin. I gave you reasons on why I don't see them moving him and you just kept harping on how he's not going to be able to contribute for a few years and that's why you'd trade him now.

In response to your hockey related question, no, I don't see anything happening until the offseason. But, I still think it's something that needs to be done. They changed the culture a bit by trading Roy and bringing in guys like Ott and Scott, but it's still a work in progress and I think the biggest culture change they can make is by changing the guy behind the bench.

- HonkFortheGoose

Well I don't remember this Leopold conversation from two years ago,
But it looks like I was right
It's not the covo we had the other day about Girgensons,
It's your responses in general towards me lately
For example...
I never said anything close to Girgensons being garbage
Maybe condescending isn't exactly the right word for it,
But wildly miscategorizing what I said isn't appreciated

Doesn't really matter. Coach/GM contracts aren't like player contracts. They could sign Ruff for 15 more years and fire him the next day.
- keptupl8

My thinking was Darcy was resigned but there was little talk on Ruff . 2 things could happen Ruff could retire on his own at the end of this season because his desire to coach has left or Pegs could sugest its time to make a change and offer Lindy a scouting or management position. Just throwing senerios out and either make sence to me.I dont see the passion or fire in Lindy anymore.Havent seen it in a few seasons.
