Well I don't remember this Leopold conversation from two years ago,
But it looks like I was right
It's not the covo we had the other day about Girgensons,
It's your responses in general towards me lately
For example...
I never said anything close to Girgensons being garbage
Maybe condescending isn't exactly the right word for it,
But wildly miscategorizing what I said isn't appreciated

Right about what? If you think I'm being nasty to you now, I can actually be nasty so you can see the difference.

My thinking was Darcy was resigned but there was little talk on Ruff . 2 things could happen Ruff could retire on his own at the end of this season because his desire to coach has left or Pegs could sugest its time to make a change and offer Lindy a scouting or management position. Just throwing senerios out and either make sence to me.I dont see the passion or fire in Lindy anymore.Havent seen it in a few seasons.

I didn't really make sense for them to have that press conference to announce Darcy's contract extension. We don't know when their contracts are up, so why draw attention by announcing the extension, but not disclosing the terms.

Seems like Lindy has an open ended contract. Might as well

???

JSG - 2.48 GAA, .919 is his stat line. We could edit out some of Miller's numbers and make him look like a Vezina candidate if that helps...

- keptupl8

I told you why his stat line looks better than it is. He came in during the third period, in relief of Varlamov, when they were already losing 4-0.

In his 2 starts, his stat line is pretty bad.

I compared his stats in starts to Millers starts in starts. I took out any goalies stats in relief. Since normally when they come in, the game is already over and its a healthy stat booster.

I was at the game, so it can be hard to tell sometimes because I'm in the end that Miller is only in once, but were any of the goals he gave up just straight up goals? Or were they all deflections?
- HonkFortheGoose

I think 2 were deflections, the last goal was horrible, Letang virtually just walked down the side boards and just threw the puck across to Dupuis, with NO ONE on him and Miller had no chance to get across in time.

The Crosby made me want to puke, bounce of the back boards and he was just in the right spot and the right time, really nothing on Miller tonight.

Miller played his ass off.
- keptupl8

Id Agree with him a on alot of nights but Miller played well today and couldnt blame any of those goals on Miller or the D really.I blame one on Pommer s blind pass early.

In my response to Homie, I described all the goals.

First one deflection at side of net. 2nd one hit someone in front and changed direction wide, then it bounced right to Crosby. Weber initially made the save but pushed it into Millers hand and then Miller knocked it back in the net unknowingly. Third one was a one timer at side of net. Last one Miller was completely screened and the guy had a wide open lane to the outside of the net with no one getting in front.

At least Vanek still has the points lead.

Also heard that Hodgson is contract renewal time at the end of this year, so expect him to keep going for points, he is looking at $$$$ with every single point he gets, I have this feeling this could be his last year here, he might want A LOT of money, apparently he did the used the Gary Roberts workout video during the off season.

Just watched the Ryan Miller postgame comments. Does anyone think there is a chance Miller says fock it decides not to resign with Buffalo out of frustration?

I think this is a possibility and I think it would completely force the Sabres into a true rebuilding mode they've needed to be in for 6 years.

The one thing that concerns me with Miller lately is it seems like he's giving up a lot of rebounds. More than I'd like him to at least. Has anyone else noticed that?

About Leopold being crappy defensively & that we should trade him
(I'm assuming that's what I was saying in this convo we had, like I said I don't remember it, but I've long held that opinion about him)

As far as being nasty or whatever,
How about we just be respectful towards each other
I think we are both smart enough to accomplish that even when we disagree
Apologies for the role I've played in it getting this far

Sometimes if you say something long enough it eventually comes true.

Leopold has been a pretty solid guy for us the last two years. This year, I will agree. He's pretty bad. Though the entire D seems to be getting a little better game by game.

He's also a restricted free agent. As stupid as Darcy can be at times, I don't think it's possible he could (frank) this up.

Though I wouldn't be completely surprised either.

Like u point out, the longer we wait, the more he'll cost
I want weber extended now also
I see no reason to wait on either guy
