Av's are lucking out right now. Blues are still stuck in the airport in Vancouver, as they have been all day, with their charter plane broken down. Unlikely they will be home to their beds more than 12 hours before puck drops for them playing the Sharks Tuesday night... then they fly to Colorado for the game Wednesday night. Talk about exhausted, against a team already resting at home for the game Wednesday.

Doesn't Gardiner have a concussion? I rather not have him, or anything from Toronto for that matter. We should trade someone with O'reilly and just get a good d-man. I wish we could get Yandle, we'd probably have to add for that. Though the Coyotes probably wouldn't be allowed to give O'reilly a 5 million dollar contract.

I know those names have been tossed around, but in the end what we get offered out of TO are pending UFAs or Dmen who cant draw into their lineup on a regular basis. I dont see how that will appeal to the Avs

Congrats Avs. I love Co. Like Zanon and O'Brien. Don't like bad call. Just ashame that as bad as we played we still earned a point the NHL will never let us have. Not trolling, every team and fan is happy when a bad call goes their way. I truly do want the Avs to to well.

I think the Avs are looking decent this year considering they are missing two of their top forwards. I'm really wondering where O'Reilly ends up.. maybe in Toronto for Gardiner and Franson or something. What's the deal with Barrie? Is he just off to a hot start or is he supposed to be the real deal?

Barrie is the real deal. Was WHL Defenseman of the year and was the Kelowna Rockets Captain. He's the main reason the Avs were OK with letting Shattenkirk go and also because of Barrie's leadership skills. Been saying it for a while, you'll see, this kid will make us all forget about Shattenwho? So happy he's playing well.

Here's a link about him. Short read and gives you an idea of what he's about: http://www.hockeysfuture....m/prospects/tyson_barrie/

Have you ever seen NHL planes? I managed the Company that flew the Ottawa Senators for 3 years and the interior of those planes make our living rooms look like a joke. They have massage tables at the back, their seats look and feel like Lazyboys, amazing food, stand up bar!+++ It might not be like that for all the teams but a lot are. We also chartered the Houston Rockets, New Jersey Devils, team Russia WC +++ They'll be a it tired but they're pros, they'll show up to play...

Dirty pool. Varlamov saved that game. Get some real defensemen on an NHL team. And some real players.
