Shanny is so f'ing incompetent, that I think the league would almost be better off letting the players police themselves. I don't want to focus too much on any particular hit, but I wonder if the players themselves have any idea what is a suspendable anymore. I think we were all better off when Shanny was on Page 6 of the New York Post with a gag ball in his mouth, then making him the head of player discipline. Finally Pete, someone who speaks the truth. I didn't think that Pacs was going to get suspended, but he deserved to answer to someone on the ice. I know how it feels, I have seen the Habs for years doing the same, standing around to look at the crime scene. Right or wrong, this had to be settled on the ice cause a suspension only delays the consequence. Team spirit is what this new management has brought to Mtl, and thanks to guys like Prust. Must hurt to know you let go a guy that plays for his team.
