Did get to see the game. I read through all the comments though and saw nothing on Christian Thomas. I want to watch a replay or something of the game and see how he did but what about some feedback here? - mrhattrick27
I thought Thomas played well, he has good speed and is not afraid to shoot. |

Saw this on Ranger Rants.....“When you have an off day,” Tortorella continued and as the Rangers did on Sunday, “it’s always a coach’s nightmare. It always gets sloppy at first. We’ll be ready to play.”
He says this all the time and they come out not ready to play. This is one reason why I think he's lost this team. |

At this point I'm not even listening to him. He constant benching of gabby and his content refusal of questions is getting under my skin. Not to mention his refusal to do anything with the power play. |

His stubborness is killling this team right now. IF he goes down, he's going down his way (Torts that is), just his MO. The only way I still see him getting canned is if they flop about 7 or 8 in a row. With Lindy Ruff now available MAYBE a switch gets made.
I still do think he's the right Coach here, but this season has been a tremendous downer so far. |

If they trade for Ryan O'Reilly and pay him anywhere near what he is looking for that is real bad news for Brad Richards' future with the Rangers, because I don't see how they make the cap situation work with O'Reilly after this year. Not to mention, the Avs want Del Zotto (or another offensive defensemen), and I just don't see that happening.
But, who knows, may the Rangers were scouting someone else. |

Idk about you but if we trade for O'Reilly and Rcihards is bought during the off season, do you feel comfortable about have O'Reilly and Stepan as the teams top 2 centers? I don't |

You think I don't know that? I would take Chris Neal as well. The Rangers could really use a couple of Richards that are hard to play against on the team, IMO. |

Every team has needs, some teams just a lcuky to finish low enough in the standing to get said needs right away. |

O'Reilly, Stepan, Miller and Boyle down the middle. You could do worse. You lack the name brand top centerman, but O'Reilly, Stepan and Miller are comers. You basically banking on one of those guys becoming a 1st line center, whereas Stepan and O'Reilly are already guaranteed excellent 2nd line centerman, and Miller is so young its hard to tell. |

Prust is the same type players, so you got your pain in the ass. Great acquisition by you guys. Can we have him back now? |

I'd say Neil is a better hockey player. You can get 30 points, 10+ goals out of him. |

Montreal not a city where UFA's want to play? Cole, Moen, Amrstrong, Gionta etc? |

Yeh, Neil is better, but not by much. Neil almost came to the Rangers when he was a UFA 2-3 years back. The Rangers offered him $2.3-$2.4 million a year, which everyone thought was absurd, but he decided to stay in Ottawa at a lower rate. |

Jt Miller probably will top out as 2nd line center if we are lucky. I would be happy if he could turn out to be center Bolland, Laich or Steen. |

Montreal is a really attractive location, but you can't be a daisy if you sign there as a UFA, because that is the toughest place to play in the NHL if you like your privacy, and in times when things aren't going so well. |

Kreider should hit up Prucha to see what hes got going on now a days. The way Torts is messing with him he will become Prucha 2.0. Just send him down already if Torts thinks Bickel and Mashinter will be more productive then him.
Bottom 6 of:
Powe-Boyle-Miller
Masinter-Halpern-Bickel
sounds like a winner
Yo Girardi isn't human. Frankin back at practice like nothing happened. Give this guy a lifetime contract |

Only a few more games and Kreider will forget what he was put on this earth to do. |
