And things are certainly going well in Montreal these days.

They did a 15 minute pregame report on their huge center ice screen on Galchnyuk and Gallagher who seem to fit in seamlessly. They both get big minutes and are always generating something positive. Could be beginners luck, or maybe not.

Torts is going to screw Krieder up, he can be as stubborn as they come. Mashinter can't skate, and if he's not going to throw the body he serves no purpose. I think your being a little unfair to Bickel. He makes the most of his limited skills, but he tries and he's not afraid to show a little grit.

But it wasn't for a long, long time, it was a poop show for quite a few years. As for the kids they have played well, real well, better than i expected. however the habs cant rely on them solely to put up the points and win game... way too much pressure in Montreal for that... I wouldn't press the panic button on your team just yet, despite how it seems they are a far better team than your record shows. The habs are overachieving by a country mile, this wont last long, neither should the rangers losing, way too good of a team to play this badly, has Torts lost the room?

That's exactly what they need. But Torts isn't gonna have a player on the roster who disregards him from time to time. I wan't Haley here. Have him be our Carcillo. Go out their hit people and maybe punch somebody in the face.

Ottawa too. 7 rookies in their line up all playing regular shifts.

Can we please get off Kreider as if he's a bust and should be traded, we saw what he can do, Torts can't ruin a kid like him, he's won 2 National Championships, Gold Medal at World Juniors plus 3 beanpot tourneys, he's not some soft wet behind the ears kid, it's a short season, Torts is a stubborn old goat so him some time to develop, he's a 30 goal scorer for sure, let's not give the peanut gallery any satisfaction or ammo, the want nothing more than for us to fail, I say we give'm a nice shitburger to eat!

You're probably right about the Canadiens playing a little over their heads. But I'm not sure about the Rangers, we'll see.

Quite frankly, I was surprised Kreider did not dominate the AHL when he was there earlier during the lockout. What's changed from last year's playoff run and this year? Something is not right.

He's a rookie to pro hockey, he's working on his defense and overall game, he knows what Torts wants.

Great article by Jesse Spector http://aol.sportingnews.c...utm_campaign=jessespector

I've said it since Saturday, March 30th will come and Montreal fans are going to ride to NY on Mounties screaming for an investigation.

His raw talent is there...maybe in a shortened season Torts should just let him play? Teach him the system when they have a full training camp and preseason? It seemed to work last year in the playoffs

That's absoluetly correct. Let Miller, Kreider and Hagelin play together, skate and learn together. But Torts knows, he doesn't make the playoffs he's gone, at least he's coaching that way.

Why deveople him when you can just screw with his mind. I'm sure he loves the bus ride between NYC and Hartford.

I've heard whispers that McDonagh is not concussed. Any truth to this?

Torts keeping it closer to the vest than the Nash "injury".

This Rick Nash injury situation is odd. NYR leaving it as undisclosed, but that only leads to speculation. He didn't practice today either.

Well, McDonagh flew with the team which is always a good sign with concussions. As far as Nash is concerned, I have an odd feeling that it is not as serious as we are speculating. I think they really do not want to take any precautions with this individual. He is they guy they will be building their offense around after this season. Honestly, I say give him as much time as he needs. No sense rushing him back when the team wasn't playing outstanding even when he was in the lineup.

I dont like it at all. It doesnt sound good, and if it doesnt end up being serious this has to be the worst way to handle your superstar player. Whenever he does make it back, the media is going to be all over him asking what was wrong, why they wouldnt disclose the injury ect.. Nothing about this is right at all.

At this day and age they have to tell what is going on, or the journalists, bloggers and fans will fabricate it.

I find myself reading the Blue Jackets blog just to support that new blogger guy. And, I don't even give a rat's ass about the Jackets.

P.S. Just kidding, Glen. I actually find the team interesting with all the former Rangers.

In light of pacioretty not getting suspended (bullpoop IMO), thought ranger fans would be interested to know that he's getting plastered atleast once a shift in the ott/mtl game. Thinking McD has a relative in ottawa....

Been hit REAL hard atleast six or seven times.
