Playoffs are always the perfect opportunity to revive old rivalries. - Pecafan Fan
1996 was the last time. I was away at college as a 19/20 yr old. I remember we lost the first 2 of that series at home. I got plasstered on booze & some designer drugs just prior to Game 3 which the Rangers won. So of course as a superstitious young lad I had to do the same in the next game & the next & before you knew it we won 4 straight to close out the series & I lost about half my brain cells.
I know I rant and need to take time away but never do, you guys are my therapy but I will never say it again (unless I'm in jail) thanks to the witty musings of Scotty Hockey, that ass clown should make every true Rangers fan proud to be so loyal, do yourself a favor and read his part in Puckdaddy's blog, if he were in the same room with Delury and Hoffman(our former threadmaster) I think they would have pummeled him.

In the process of reading. And did he say Nash is a disappointment and point only to his goal total? Does he watch the games?? - mrhattrick27
Scotty hated the Nash trade from the beginning, mainly because they included Erixon and not Del Zotto. Scotty also guaranteed that JT Miller would never play an NHL game after the Rangers drafted him. Guaranteed.

That was when the Red Wings were still known as playoff choke artists. I still remember that Avs-Wings series -- some really compelling hockey. - Pete V
Seems like every time the two team played they would always beat the hell out of each other and then go on to win the cup.
Maybe they hit bottom in Montreal... - Blueshirts4ever
The team is banged up right now. They're playing like crap. This is when we really need Hank to step up and carry them until the team works through their struggles.

Awesome hockey. Claude Le-douche sent Kris Draper into the glass partition & gave him a wicked scaaar for the rest of his life. Nasty!
And yea, Detroit used to get killed for flaming out every playoffs until they brought in Shanahan, that helped them finally get over the top.
They read the papers, they listen to the radio, they know they need to be tougher, hopefully seeing Mcdonagh out of the lineup angers them. - HankdaTank
I am calling Ryan Callahan or Girardi (one of he leaders) dropping the gloves at the first sign of a run taken by a Winnipeg player...just b/c its time...I throw those names out but they are both still nursing injuries but you get my drift...if they are going to make any sort of a run, the time is NOW
