Moen but he didn't go in the crease, Biron was way out trying to cut the angle (from what I remember). - Symba007
I don't fault Moen for that but the Ranger players still have to act when their goalie gets bumped into. Right after losing McD and with Biron laying on the ice the players on the ice have to go after Moen. The only one that did was Boyle and it was like 1 on 3 there. I love Step for the good young player he is but to see him just standing there not doing anything was galling. I'm not saying he should have been throwing punches but at least get your nose in there and shove someone. |

Now thats bad comment. The concussions suffered by Crosby weren't call at all. - soad_live
Both plays weren't dirty, unlike last night. Fehr collided with him and he got the worst of it and his own teammate-Kunitz-ran into him for his other one. |

Call up Haley, have him be the biggest prick he can be. Give this team a shot in the arm. - tomburton99
Haley needs to be here, kid can fight. Rangers need some jam in here. It's crazy how losing Dubinsky and Prust has made this team appear pillowy. |

I think Rangers/Habs is probably the most boring rivalry in the NHL. The games are tough to watch - TPC

The hit from Hedman was worst than the Pacio hit. |

French players are loved when they play for the Habs and hated when they play for another team, even more a division rival. - Symba007
And he wasn't a Montreal fan growing up either according to Sam Rosen and Michelleti. I assume he was a Nordiques fan. |

Shan got it right, McD turned into the hit. Funny was Torts asking the question in the interview, trying to distract reporters from asking the real questions like why are they playing so bad? |

Thats offensive coming from a trap team like the Rangers. |

I would pay good money to see the comments you posted after the Chara hit. |

He has already answered those questions. The team has been playing badly all season, not just against the Canadiens. |

He was probably crying for a lifetime ban on Chara, who is as clean as a hard hitting defenseman can get. |

Oh no, we don't trap. We used to block a lot of shots but now we're trying a new defensive philosophy: The revolutionary No Defense style. We again will be the trendsetters in how to play defense in this league. |

Man the puck was going. But stop arguyingh, youre talking against your own arguments.
If the puck was long gone, why was he bending and not protecting himself. I could understand if he was face against the wall. But he wasn't. That was not a late hit and McDo knew Pacioretty was coming. |

Bottom line is Pacioretty should have paid for his hit last night but none of the Rangers did it. Can't rely on this league to hand out proper suspensions or whatever. On March 30th a Ranger better lay him out, call up Haley, whoever. Enough of teams taking liberties on Rangers players without any kind of response. |

I don't suppose you would be able to give you us your assessment of the Chara hit, as you saw it when it happened. Were you also blaming Patches for not protecting himself? |

Yeah. He was proud of himself for getting some retribution on McD. Doubt he realized at that point that McD was really hurt. My only problem with the play was Pacioretty launching himself at McD. Players should not have to defend themselves from an illegal hit. It may have been called boarding last night by the officials but when you leave your feet in the process of a body check it's called charging. |
