Man the puck was going. But stop arguyingh, youre talking against your own arguments.
If the puck was long gone, why was he bending and not protecting himself. I could understand if he was face against the wall. But he wasn't. That was not a late hit and McDo knew Pacioretty was coming. - soad_live
Sorry, I'll stop arguing since you are masterfully showing yourself to be a tremendous homer.
Hard to win with people that don't see fault in their own team or players, even when the fault is glaring. |

Yeah. He was proud of himself for getting some retribution on McD. Doubt he realized at that point that McD was really hurt. My only problem with the play was Pacioretty launching himself at McD. Players should not have to defend themselves from an illegal hit. It may have been called boarding last night by the officials but when you leave your feet in the process of a body check it's called charging. - gkmkiller
Truth is McDonagh could have really drilled him but he eased up. Pacioretty should have done the same but can't expect much from a cheap player. |

The players don't even know what was clean or dirty at the time of the play. Kind of like Schenn's hit on Volchenkhov a couple of weeks ago. Anton didn't think it was dirty at all, and only realized that Schenn was 6 inches off the ice before contact was made, after 37 reporters made him watch the highlights. These guys are all peers and reps travel. All you can hope is that guys like "patches" get theirs over time. No justice comes from supplemental discipline. |

You stubborn or what. Pacioretty didn't have the puck and Chara pushed him from behind.
Totally different.
And poor crybabies. Pacioretty didn't smile cause he was happy. He smiled at the ref cause he didn't called the previous hit on him. - soad_live
So, players only have to protect themselves when they have the puck? |

Actually, fans from Rangers see what they want. Others see what Shanahan is seeing. |

Lol the fact that McDonagh made the first cheap hit eludes you... |

If you can't protect yourself while having the puck, you play on the rink in your neighborhood. |

I thought that one of the new parts of the CBA was that there was a 3-member board that reviewed these hits? Is that not the case? |

This sounds remarkably similar to a week ago when your folks were bawling that Grabo had bitten Patches, while blissfully ignoring the fact that dear gentlemanly patches was preventing him from breathing... |

I didn't say trade everybody for nothing, silly goose. It'll cost ya... your next 2 first round picks and Phil Kessell. And Colton Orr, the Rangers could use some goons and I miss Orr. |

He's a good'er for sure. Hands of lead though; not great for handling pucks but definitely great for breaking some teeth.
As for the trades, I'm sure that we could sort something out |

Maybe the Canadiens are taking mad that McDonagh isn't their property anymore and Pacioretty decided to take revenge for Gainey's horrendous trade |

LOL. Grabovski should be banned for ever not because it was vicious. But because the league loks like a women league. |

It's not an easy job but even when hits don't involve Ranger players, and thus I have less of a vested interest, it's still hard to see any form of consistency when it relates to supplementary discipline. |

Damn you need glasses. Illegal hit, the puck is like 100 feet away. Pacio is winning the race to get it and Chara use his 12 feet arms to push him.
By the way, i didn't say Chara's hit was suspendable. He's not the kind of player that wants to end careers. Neither do Pacio. - soad_live
it's not from behind like you said. this is a hit from behind.
