I look at the overall picture. We have been declining since the big game in Boston .This team has a lot of problems that the goaltending hid under the carpet . I have no problem about a fellow fan debating whether we are in need of changes or we are fine. What drives me crazy is these fukken clowns that start off a statement "No wonder every one eles hates this fan base. It is like this bumhole thinks he is better than all of us . I am above all of you and you are embarassing me. Realy then '(frank) off and go hang with your Mensa pals."

Change can be a good or a bad thing. But sometimes, it just has to be done. If im the Canucks I dont do anything major this season and let things ride out. Give the team the chance to turn things around. If it doesn't work out, AV and trades have to be front and center in the off season.

You're being realistic about the situation, which is good. The one thing the Canucks have to avoid at all costs though is turning into the Flames. If trades and a coaching change to bring the team back to where the GM and fans feel the Canucks should be doesn't work, then some really major moves and tough decisions need to be made about the direction and future of the team.

While Gillis does need to be called out for not filling holes and not making moves to improve the team, he should be given credit for not resorting to those horrible panic moves teams can make from time to time. That said, confidence in him can't be all that high after the Kassian for Hodgson trade and the Garrison signing.

I think Kassian will be good IMO , he is one of the few glimmers of hope for the future.

As much as we all want AV out of here ,who would replace him . Getting rid of AV makes sense to do after the season. It is like going on a date with an ugly chick ,you just want it to end as fast as possible.

I think Canucks have very little chance of making it past 1 st round playoffs this year and should consider being sellers at TDL. Raymond Booth Higgins and Lapierre can probably fetch some 2nd rounders and 3 rd rounders.

Very well said. The Leafs paid the price of almost a decade without playoff hockey thinking they could just patch and fix things up, like the Flames are doing now. They finally tore things down, and are finally just starting to turn things around, if they can even pull it off.
