Hey Scoob, how you liking Staal, guy's a machine! I see he already has a goal tonight |

Seriously?
You would want Matt Stajan and his 3.5m cap hit on the books for the remainder of this year and all of next year? Andrew Ebbett has been much more productive for 600k. - 1970vintage
I'd rather one year at 3.5 then two more after this at 4.25... And no ebbett has not been much more productive , but rather much less. Look at the stats then comment |

So buy out one yr. It gets Booth and Ballard off the books. I believe both those players can help us more then booth and ballard |

Ballard isn't an all star. But he is far better then AV and Bowness make him out to be. No doubt he would be top 4 in Calgary. I think my proposal is fair and helps both teams |

I listened to Paul Chapman list the Canucks problems to Aaron Ward this morning , the list was as long as my arm. Ward agreed that it is deeper problems than most people realized. Iteresting times ,but this team is far from the team that peaked 2 years ago. |

Brodie j bo Gio wideman are top 4

Anybody else heard this?;
@TheSportMarket
Still lots of moving parts b4 March 23rd timeline but watch for Calgary Flames to take on Utica for their AHL affiliation while...(Cont'd)
@TheSportMarket
(Part 2)...St. Louis Blues to affiliate with Chicago Wolves and @ VanCanucks to buy Peoria to move to Abbotsford. #ahlcarousel @TEAM1040
The good news; Vancouver would have total control of their affiliate, and have players playing in their back yard—will likely sell out every game, and Canucks fans can catch prospects live.
The bad news; I've heard the Abbotsford's travel is brutal, and has been detrimental to the team this season. Chi was very centrally located and made it easier to call-up prospects for away games.
edit; Somebody's already made these up

At this point, Ballard is better than Brodie.
Not sure if the upgrade is worth the additional salary that Ballard is payed, though. |

No he isn't , last year he would be but Brodie has came a long way this year, very impressed with his development, I would say Brodie overall has been second best maybe 3rd |

I live in bc and pretty much watch most if not all Canucks and flames games, Brodie is our version of tanev, tanev would be a bit better defensively but Brodie can move the puck better .... Some Canuck fans might argue he has been your best d man , but fans from other teams would laugh cuz he doesn't have much of a reputation outside bc |

Vancouver /Dallas trade? - VANTEL
Have Aquilini and Gagliardi (sp?) made up?
There are several players on Dal I wouldn't mind Gillis targeting.
Morrow, and Robidas being a few, with the obvious "no-chance" guys like Benn, or Oleksiak (sp?), as well. |

Ballard has gotten an unfair rap because of AV. He's been very solid this year with Tanev, finally playing his correct side.
I doubt any coach (except maybe AV) would play Brodie over Ballard if salary wasn't an issue. |

You're a little obsessed with stats. Is that a side effect of mixing pharmaceuticals? |
