Wtf is going on? If you could phrase it just like that, it'd be great, thanks NFG

I was asked if I had any questions. I posed one but wanted to pass along other questions people may want to have answered.

And I would LOVE for him to punch Barkann in the head!

yes agree

they need to bite the bullet and trade a forward for a top 4 puck mover defenseman who can quarterback the PP, and hope they get another one with their high pick in this draft that can step in in 3 years.

With L Schenn and Grossman to pair as the shut down guys they have part of the equation already. But the other half, the guy to replace Kimmo is the harder part.

It is going to cost them a top six forward and maybe more but they have to do it for the right guy. The UFA class the following year might provide someone also.

Homer has likely been working towards this all season.
You just hope he makes the right deal.

It's tough say what forwards may be dealt for help on the back end. I'm not opposed to any forward not being named Giroux being dealt if it means equal or greater value coming back to help on the blue line.

That being said some players have had thier value hurt from off years. I would not deal Couturier right now for that very reason.

Thanks, Mark how are things in Washington state? I heard there's some disaster going on. Iirc you live up that way, if not disregard, but for anyone that does I wish you well.

There was a huge landslide last night on Whidbey Island, a drunk driver convicted of multiple prior DUIs plowed into a family of 4 in Seattle, 2 killed and 2 critical, the Italians want to re try Amanda Knox, and they legalized marijuana. That's about it for WA right now. I got my potatoes planted and the cherry trees are blossoming.

Will only make me sad if in the summer it says "on this day they were 5 points behind the fishsticks and still didnt get Jones, MacKinnin or Drouin"

I know. If they can secure a top 5 pick and make some good trades and signings it won't be so terrible. Look on the bright side, if you are going to suck, you might as well suck in a shortened season.

Got tickets to the game tonight, few rows behind the glass too... #joy

Yea my Bryz hating cousin texted me back eventually...

I guess the one thing I can take solace in is seeing some future stars in the infancy of their careers. Hopefully they break my double digit consecutive loss when attending streak... Hopefully

Oooo, jealous! I love the games even when we lose. At home there's nothing to distract you from a loss. At a game the fast pace, the people watching the anticipation creates an intensity I enjoy. Sadly the fiancee prefers his own beer, a clean bathroom without a line and high def. Go figure...

You would hope that for any deal involving Couts they get MAX value back and that the GM trading for him realizes this is a sophomore slump on a dysfunctional team.

Yea going is always a treat. Unfortunately my most recent three games have been, 1-0 loss to Atlanta, 1-0 shoot out loss to the islanders, getting decimated by Florida this year. Eventually the trend has to shift I'd say.

The above scenario could very well happen especially with every team not in the playoffs getting a shot at #1. Flames will only get worse, Avs are terrible as well. Who thinks the Flyers will actually luck out for once and get the #1 pick? I sure dont.

Yeah if we end up in third then we have a 58% chance of staying in the top 3.

#1, probably not, top 5 I would be ok with. You really want to land in the top 3 to get what's considered a "can't miss" guy, but there appears to be at least 8-10 players who have a chance to be real difference makers.

Plus two buyouts to use to fix past mistakes. Imagine if there had been no lockout... the Flyers would be screwed.
