That would be true. The best is they wouldnt be tied in for another six-seven years either.
Help free up more space to add some pieces. |

The last time the Flyers were an underdog at home against the Isle, Dennis Potvin was roaming the blueline |

I'll give you $1,000 if the Pens or Ducks win the Cup.
You give me $100 if anyone else wins the Cup.

You better believe it is. I just saw a Biography on Jaws. A behind the scenes look at how the movie was made. Fascinating stuff. Movie was so late finishing shooting and was so far over budget it came close to not being completed.
Couple of quick notes. The scenes in the movies with the yellow barrels, was something Spielberg came up with due to the electrical shark not working. Also the scene were Hooper recovers the sharks tooth from the hull of Ben Gardner's boat, was filmed at the bottom of Spielberg's pool, after the movie wrapped and was added during editing to get an extra scream from the audience. - PLindbergh31

Maybe Edmonton? Not sure if they're confident in either of Dubstep or Khabibula. |

Why?
Don't get me wrong, I love Iggy. But this move doesnt exactly address a need for them. Defense and Goaltending have been their issues in playoffs recently so address those issues by not addressing them at all by adding more firepower? Hasn't that been the Flyers tactic for the last 20 years? Why is Iggy for a guaranteed 20 some games worth a 1st to a team that doesn't struggle offensively?
Does this move make the Pens better today? Yes. Am I laughing my butt off cause they handed a 1st over for a 35yr player making 6.5mil heading into one caphell of an offseason? You bet. |

A first and two prospects. It's a gamble. It only pays off if they skate the Cup.

Yup. But my point was to ask is he worth a first if you cant even realistically afford to sign him next year? |

Their not going to have to worry about defense cause their going to be playing in the offensive zone alot. When Pitt wins the cup It will be worth it. They only gave up 2 average prospects and the pick is going to be last pick of 1st round. They picked up Murray already and fluery will be fine. It's not like they will face Philly so no worries for pit |

Huge gamble. If it was me I would have set the 1st aside to bolster the defense. I think that improves their cup chances much more. |

They have about 11.5M in Cap space for next year. Adams, Dupuis, and Cooke are UFA's. Kennedy is an RFA.

I agree with that. But even so, they're the favorite going in.
