It's a start. Now, post that again every other page of every Bill Meltzer thread for the next three years. Should Gervais get hurt, be sure to lay into Gustafsson, Lilja, or some other defenseman not named Timonen.

I'm going to lay into Holmgren. The Flyers should have at least 2 or 3 quality defenseman available in case of injury to 3 of their regulars. And I can't believe it has taken his this long to replace Pronger!

If you've read my posts of the last few weeks, I've been saying similar things. I just want them giving their best effort night in and night out. Your earlier post seemed to denote your approval of tanking.

Apologies if I inferred what you did not imply.

i will admit that part of me want them to lose before the deadline because I do feel that there are good deals out there for teams that deem themselves "sellers" because so few do..It could really help longterm

Worst team in the sport for the second time in 5 years, while having more resources than majority of teams in the NHL. Pretty hard to do.

MAB's concussion problems have certainly hurt the depth of the d core. I thought he showed some decent promise, hopefully he can be ready by training camp.

Hopefully Ghost turns pro and can start in the AHL next season.

The Rangers haven't won in 19 years. They are losers.

You're correct about that. But Knuble was waived in the past few weeks. Nobody was interested. You think now you're going to get a draft pick for him? Fedetenko isn't going to get much. Gagne might get something decent. But those hoping to receive considerable assets for these players is going to be disappointed.

I agree, just hoping for the best return possible if a return can be had. I'm looking at 2014/2015 when the team should have solid cap space as the tipping point for the franchise. I'd build with that in mind. The RFA contracts going into that season will be intersting.

It's not about being right, it's about female doging and getting an audience.

SSDD.

What is that?

Here is my idea of a good SSDD:

Honestly, I think it's great that you're looking for the positives. I'm with you. Sure beats moaning about Bruno Gervais.

An alumn and rooting big time. Played some games at LaSalle against Jelly bean Bryant, Lional Simmons, Overton and others. No, I'm not in their league.

Gervais is ok as a 7 and servicable as a 6. Not going to win the cup with him on the second D pairing. Is what it is(I hate that saying, but in this case it makes sense).

i don't know what to say about this team except they appeared to compete tonite, but they found a way to lose...that's what losers do.

frustrating thing is that the best asset they have for the TDL is injured. it's not even paying to suck this yr, unlike '07. can't wait to start the off season.

What was the tall player for Temple that could shoot the 3 like crazy. I believe he got them to the elite 8. I golfed with him in Myrtle beach. He was good friends with a work associate. Began with V. Man, I can't remember his name.
