This.

I liked Adams as a player. Smart, worked hard, good faceoff guy, great defensively.
Does not always translate to being a good coach.

If they do keep Rolston , I at least hope he brings in some new blood, Asst. coach-wise.

Agreed, then why is he running the powerplay??????

At what point will Pegula realize this is Regiers team and hold him accountable? He needs to be fired immediately so the team knows their jobs are at stake. Don't give me this baloney about ownership held him back, why aren't any (almost all) of his draft picks responding?
Truthfully, I buy 25% of a friends season ticket, but have already told him forget it next year if Regier is back.

Sure he was a -1 last night but he didnt play poorly. The -1 happened because of a crazy bounce off the glass when he was on the rush.

My problem with the lineups last night Sekera and Pysk were playing together.
Thats who I want our young rookie D playing with

- Stripes77

He's been borderline good since the benching. He could be a lot better, however. And hitting his stride conditioning-wise leading into next season should help.

He has been playing with Pardy since Pardy was recalled. They were fine. Why split them up?
- Stripes77

Because RR is a terrible coach. He needs to be sent back down to rochester the day the season ends period.

I agree, as you know Myers hasnt been my favorite Sabre this year but yesterday, and take this for what its worth because of how bad we played, I thought he was our best defensemen.

The GM really effects your decision to buy tickets?

Assuming he doesn't take another summer off, again. He's a young guy with a truckload of cash. Hopefully that level of commitment, pride, professionalism, etc kicks in this year, but there's no guarantee.

Anyone know if Lindstrom holds a training camp? Myers would be a perfect first pupil! Teach him how to be a pro and prepare for the season.

Yes, I have heard that from a lot of people. IMO, the biggest reason the atmosphere is so bad is because the same man is in charge and has not produced consistent winning in 16 years here.

Sounds to me like a bunch of fair weather fans. I split with my best friend and weve basically ended up going to the majority of the games together due to him not being able to give them away. In a few years when they are back in the playoffs everyone will come calling for the tickets again and all I can say is pissoff to those people.

I love hockey plain and simple ill be in the seats when they are the worst team and when they hoist the Cup

Brennans shooting percentage jumped from 5.6 to 13.3%. He wont continue that. Case in point see Foligino (11-12 to 12-13)

People want to criticize Myers and Ehrhoff for not scoring, we are the worst puck possession team in the league, it's hard for guys at the point to get shots on goal when u cannot win face offs or control the puck in the offensive zone
- sbroads24

Who is talking about Ehrhoff? Myers is terrible. I'd rather have Brennan. Myers will be out of the NHL before they finish paying him this contract.

On the flip side. Alot of our players have talent and have produced at the NHL level. I can see blaming Darcy for bust draft picks and bad contracts but when it comes to the players in the locker room, they are supposedly men. Professional hockey players. The fact that they roll over or don't give full effort on the ice is something the coaches and players must deal with. The players do not hold each other accountable on the ice. And when one speaks out to the media he is chastised for throwing his teammates under the bus. What this team lacks and has lacked since Drury is a guy to command respect in the room and on the ice. A guy that has won before and can show these wimps how to do it.

Serious question though, we all know the building will be pretty full every night. Is there a way to voice our displeasure? We are a hockey town. We live this sport and team even if its a crappy team.

Ted Black isnt dumb he knows we arent happy but if people really think we can get Darcy fired because we boo or wont renew our seasons they need a wake up call. There will always be someone next on the list to take their place

Maybe exagerating slightly. But Myers is bad, really bad! I think he gets hype because of being a 1st round pick that is 6-9.

If Myers was a 4th round pick making 1 mil a year he'd be in Rochester. Do you disagree?

Im not saying I agree with them saying that, but i see the merit in all of it. Darcy built this team, he put this group of players together. It is no his fault they dont give consisten efforts, but he should be willing to make changes even if it means making changes that he does not generally do. Which is the reason many people dislike Darcy, and has become his MO.

Holding on to players to long and being afriad to make a drastic change.
