Methinks I saw a shade of pride (hurt pride) in Myers there. It's better than "oh well." Maybe he'll spend his summer with Hodgson and come back stronger for it.

And to be honest, that's our best hope at this point - we get a shot at some great young talent as a consolation prize and the young guys who are here now come back angry next year.

TJ Brennan has 7 points and is +1 in 11 games with the panthers.

Tyler Myers has 8 points and is -8 in 38 games with the Sabres.

TJ is at almost .7 ppg since we traded him for a 5th round pick. He has NOT been a defensive Liability, and the Panthers power play is 4th in the NHL since he arrived.

Brennans shooting percentage jumped from 5.6 to 13.3%. He wont continue that. Case in point see Foligino (11-12 to 12-13)

Sure he was a -1 last night but he didnt play poorly. The -1 happened because of a crazy bounce off the glass when he was on the rush.

My problem with the lineups last night Sekera and Pysk were playing together.

It's because Pysyk and Weber struggled early and often so he split them up after the 1st

I liked Adams as a player. Smart, worked hard, good faceoff guy, great defensively.

Does not always translate to being a good coach.

If they do keep Rolston , I at least hope he brings in some new blood, Asst. coach-wise.

He has been playing with Pardy since Pardy was recalled. They were fine. Why split them up?

We have needed a true #1 center for years now and that has been our biggest problem. Hodgeson is not a true #1 hes is a #2 playing on a #1 line because we have no one else... Vanek needs a #1 center / play maker on his line and a very good winger. Hodge should be the #2 line center period. Until we can win faceoffs constantly and have someone feeding vanek the puck in the slot or in front of the net we will fail time and time again. This team lacks talent in the vital positions period.
