Who is talking about Ehrhoff? Myers is terrible. I'd rather have Brennan. Myers will be out of the NHL before they finish paying him this contract.

I think he is serious. But remember because someone gets traded and have better stats for a short period of time he is amazing

Myers still plays about 7 more minutes a game and Brennan doesnt play against top lines. He IS a defensive liability. He gets PP time with the Panthers which shows why he has more points. This poster is watching a game through the stat sheets

Yes I disagree because he has not been as bad as you make him out to be. If he was a "trainwreck" or "tire fire" he would be worse than a -8 on a team that has lost many more games than they have won

Teams bad so you shouldn't watch? I enjoy hockey, period. I'm never in a bad mood after a game, even one like last night.

Do I want a better team? Do I want Darcy gone? Yes and YYYESSSSSS, but those things have nothing to do with if I'm watching the game.

I'm eternally envious of people that live near buffalo and have the luxury of declining SEASON tickets (or at least a portion of).

The only thing less fans would do is drive the team away. I'm not interested in driving any more of the buffalo teams away.

The fact is Myers is a first round pick that has a crap load of talent and is a former ROY winner. so your "if" statement is invalid.

He was the teams best D-man last night, and has been playing better since the benching/ firing of Ruff. The only reason he was a -1 last night was because the puck bounced backwards on his dump in.

If he comes back next year out of shape and playing the same, then I will get worried. I have full faith in him that he will be better.

He was good his rookie year. Since then he is garbage. I wish he was good. I am a Sabres fan. I watch every game. He loses 1 on 1 battles to guys that are 5-8 170 pounds. He has good long strides, but he is not quick. He is week on the puck. He makes TERRIBLE decisions.

I'd argue he's a top pairing on most teams.

Assuming he doesn't take another summer off, again. He's a young guy with a truckload of cash. Hopefully that level of commitment, pride, professionalism, etc kicks in this year, but there's no guarantee.

If you really want to get into this our best D consitently all year (minus last night) has been Mike Weber. Not saying Weber is a #1 D but saying Ehrhoff is a #1 by a long shot isnt right. Being a plus 10 has a lot to do with him starting the year off really good. Not so much the last month or so

Lived in Northern Kentucky for 7 years rarely ever got to see a game wasnt able to come back even for the Winter Classic there is no way in hell Im letting any time go by where I wont watch the Sabres.

Until recently the sabres threads were actually pretty good. Active, with a fair number of regulars that actually conversed.
