What really confuses me is did the organization think up to last night they still had a legitimate shot at making the playoffs?

This goalie situation really needs to be figured out in my opinion but apparently they are not to worried about it.

I would be starting Enroth and Leggio the rest of the season and see if Enroth is worth keeping around as a "restricted" and if Leggio is worth resigning.

Just my opinion of course.

I wasnt saying take him off the PP. I know its not all him either. My argument was that Ehrhoff has been god awful on the PP which is what he was brought in to do. The other poster asked what else did we want him to do I was just making my point

This goalie situation really needs to be figured out in my opinion but apparently they are not to worried about it.

Myers has had an awful year. Sekera is almost ignorable. Weber shows flashes of what he could be, followed by prolonged periods of what he is/was.

Pysyk has been good, but expectations have been pretty much zero for him. He doesn't make a lot of stupid plays. On most teams in most seasons that's not enough to be the least Hated defenseman.

Our forwards are just a disaster so i won't even go there.

Lets not pretend like ehrhoff is the only one underperforming.
It's obviously a team related issue, so maybe we should stop blaming individuals?

Right! If Vanek didnt carry this team the first month Ehrhoff would have the same numbers as Myers in the plus minus category. Once Myers and Ehrhoff have been paired together Myers game (not just stat sheet) has been better than Ehrhoffs

He really should be worrying about the fact they are hanging on the hip of a 37 year old goalie (who didnt want to report there in the first place). Yes the Islanders have a good young team but if they dont get their future goalie figured out soon they will be back in the basement very quickly
