True, but it worked to get Vancouver the Sedin twins, and they've led Vancouver to SEVERAL Presidents' Trophies. - jmatchett383
And one very, very successful city wide riot. |

Its a good thing the flyers locked rosehill in for 2 years. He was all over the press box last night. - Just5
A player missing a game due to an injury sure is something to whine about. |

if it wasn't for Hartnell, he would've been able to make a play before turning it over for the second goal. |

That was a really unfortunate mix up. |

Hartnell couldn't have gotten in the way any more if he tried. |

I dunno. I'm just fed up with the lack of execution up front and the discussion turning to the goaltender EVERY GAME. - Flyskippy
This.
But honestly, find some way of insulting people that doesn't involve women. Because we? Are not whiny little losers who blame others for our shortcomings any more than the Flyers should be.
If the Flyers really are as mentally weak as some here suggest (rather than just not very talented or well coached), blow it up and start over. |

I think you misunderstood me, its my fault because I didn't express it well. I don't think they consciously gave up or let down due to Bryz being in net. Rather I think that on a subconscious level they may have sagged a bit since every guy in that locker room knows that Mason saved their bacon in the 3rd period against the Rangers. Its just human nature, not a lack of conscious effort. - BiggE
Bryzgalov has never saved their bacon? I'm not totally against a buyout for bryzgalov myself but let's not act like he hasn't done what mason did the other night numerous times only to have the team come out with similar results afterwards. |

When I allude to pre-adolescence or teenage years of the female or male genders I'm not insulting the mature finished products. I just find being whiny and catty characteristic of teenage girls where obnoxious and foolhardy applies to men of all ages |

The way the team gave up on Cechmanek in 2000-01/2001-02 sure sets a precedent for suspecting, if not believing, it. - Flyskippy
Well, if that's the case you have to place blame right at the top of the organization because it's a completely different team today. |

Um... Just making sure: You & DFT know that wasn't me that compared the Flyers to a girls swimming team. Nor did I approve of it. I was responding to BiggE's post. |

Has nothing to do with the coach altering his system or unrealistic expectations. |

The winning line is Briere-Schenn-Simmer. I think they average -10 each in 1/2 a season. |
