Good job by cappy going with him in game 1. He's been a difference maker out there. Unfortunately not a positive one for the islanders.

The pens aren't making nearly as many mistakes as last year. This team is better, possibly better than even Pens fans recognize. Do you guys think that the shot to Nabys head effected his game?

i want to say yes because it would be a very convenient excuse, But no.. isles are being outplayed. If Nabby was 100% it would still be atleast 2-0

The biggest issue to me is the first line.
They double cover JT in the nuetral zone so JT does the right thing and passes it off to Moulson or Boyes. Moulson and Boyes dump it in to send the other in to chase. Problem is, they are both too slow to dump and chase.

Possible I guess. I don't think the Isles coming back and winning 8-2 (now 8-4) is optimistic though. It's reality. It will happen.
