While I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on putting Streit on O, I do believe Martinek should be in for Strait. Reasoner should have played his last game as an Islander tonight. If Cappy puts in Bolton next game, then he is just making himself more of a laughing stock coach.

AHL team? Are you kidding me? Yeah we have some prospects on the team (Bailey, Okposo, Neilsen) but beyond that I don't know how you can consider this even close to an AHL team.

No, but I do think our team's desire to play pond hockey instead of trapping and dumping the puck is definitely affecting everything that is going on tonight, and will continue to, unless someone COACHES them at some point.

I'm an Islander fan, yes. But this is exactly what I expected. It's exactly what every NHL analyst and NHL reporter expected as well. It's a blowout and most likely will continue.

It's sad to see because I want the guys to gain some confidence from the experience. But I'm not embarrassed by it because it was expected.

Thats odd since most predictions I see hsve this series going 5-6 games. Given no one expects us to win, and none us do either, but I think we can all agree this team has lost its momentum. This is why i hated cappy tinkering with the lineup.

This isn't even a game. The Pens are toying with them and Crosby isn't even playing. I'd like to see some semblance of life out of the isles in the third. They're not even competing.

I really would have preferred if he sat Strait and Reasoner and played Martinek and Joensuu. Not saying we'd be nipping at their heels but both players have played into 3of the 5 goals. This game is lost, but they need to reestablish what got them here.

Yeah, Strait's been a mess since returning to the lineup. Sitting him for Martinek is probably just addition by subtraction. But in reality, the whole team's a mess in this game. There was really only one good forecheck that I remember when the game was still in reach. That's the strength of the team. If they're not establishing it, well, this happens
