Might not win on Sunday but I think that will be the best game of the series... - kear20
I agree. We've played better at home all season long. |

By the time they are in Brooklyn, they will be a totally different team...alot of these guys won't even be on the team... - kear20
After this game I'm hoping they are very different team by game 2. |

Not to get too off topic here, but with Yormark running the business side if things when the Isles move to Brooklyn, anyone else think its pretty much a lock that Wang is selling to Yormark/Ratner? - NewYawkIslandez
I have season tickets to the Giants and they mentioned in their newsletter that Wang spoke to the Giants owners Tisch and Mara about how they function as part owners...it was about a year ago... |

I always thought Charles would sell to the Nets people. - ses111
Yea if Yormark is taking over the business side, that's gotta be the #1 sign that the team is his shortly. That makes me a happy panda |

So instead of losing 5-0 we lose 8-0. - ses111
maybe Martinek...they really don't have many moves unless they bring in a rookie like Strome or Nelson... |

Carkner and Boulton in for probably Hickey (or Stright) and Reasoner...book it... - kear20
Putting Carkner and Boulton in isn't going to fix what happened out there tonight. His team needs to get back to the lineup and type of play that saw them into the playoffs. Want to put Carkner in for Strait? Fine. But instead of Boulton, how about Joensuu? Why Reasoner was even dressed is mind-boggling.
Throw away the game tape from this one and start fresh on Friday. Go back to the winning streak lineup and use their effort to try to close the gap in talent a bit. |

I would not mind seeing Strome, Nelson, and Donovan. |

Even Joey Diamond maybe. We need the prospects in there and showing how great they are. Nino, Strome, and Diamond for game 2. |

Can you please tell that to Cappy? Guarantee you that we see Carkner and/or Boulton next game. Maybe Reasoner too because he provides the needed playoff experience. |

He just scores because he plays with Crosby. |

if your down 2 or 3 games to zero...you don't put in Strome or Nelson to see how they do... |

It's incredible this team finally makes the playoffs and are still very fragile. |

I just said, Strome Nino and Joey D.
JT, JD, Strome. That's my first line. Moulson and Boyes just score because they play with Tavares. Boyes should sit. Moulson should be on the fourth line if that. |

The 2007 Pens were fragile as well. The 13 Isles are basically the same team.\
And like the Maven just said, The 1953 Bruins got beat 7-0 and came back to win the series so I'm not really worried. Game 2 will be different. |

Duper does everything... Crosby does help of course but Dupuis is non stop and I would be sick if he's not a Pen the rest of his career. |

i got an idea. lets play Marty Reasoner tonight for his vet presence. his stupid penalty lead to 3rd and 4th goal. Reasoner was benched and isles went on a run, why bring that loser back in lineup.
I agree. Moulson and Boyes are not getting it done. Moulson even more than Boyes. Moulson continues his fan on good scoring opportunity streak.
Also, While Strait is good dman, I do think Martinek brings same level of defensive responsbility but with better point shot.
As miserable as it was, Its only game.
I Geniuis coach probably was hoping Pens used up all their goals in the series in the first game. |
