No it's never too late to question the GM. He makes the day-to-day decisions. He hasn't given this team the tools to do anything but MAKE the playoffs and if he jumps the shark you have to call him on it. Cappy is clueless and is Garth's boy. Garth decides the players and keeps cappy on a short leash. Here's one decision that Garth could/should have discussed with Crappy b4 start of 3rd period - WHY play Tavares in the final 10-15 minutes and risk injury?
JT was one of a few giving 100% last night, despite one of his linemates totally sucking...who was Garths big off season acquisition....and WHY REASONER??? Im surprised Garths tires weren't slashed when he left the arena last night. Can't wait to hear his BS speech after all is said & done. And no one will question him, like Botta & Jaffe used to....oh, where are those two guys? They don't believe in all that Garth has done but I guess you know more than them too, right?

I agree with what I bolded and I'll say it again, Boyes is still playing on that line bcs of one person and it's Snow. Still smearing the egg off his face from PA. Cappy said after the Rags game he was going to shuffle the first line who do you think he was referring too after Boyes looked like he was playing for the Rangers that night? Next game lines were intact and Capuano back peddled. Pretty obvious what happened there. Moulson and Boyes suck but at least Moulson has had chemistry with Tavares no matter how hollow his game is which is becoming more evident with every minute of playing time.

I forget which one of you it was who pointed out Tavares' limited ice time through two periods last night, but that made me crazy when I looked at the stats for the game at that point. I can't believe the solution was to limit the team's best player's ice time. You think they'd do the opposite...double shift Tavares to get him into a favorable matchup on the ice. At the very least, switch him out with Nielsen and give him Okposo and Bailey for a few shifts (Okposo at least looked like he was really into the game last night, and Bailey, despite some mistakes, was able to hang in there on some shifts); let him play a little while with wingers who could create some space for him out there. If Tavares isn't going, the Isles don't stand a chance...he needs to be out there more to get going, not less.

I hear that, how many goals has he NOT scored this year just bcs his stick wasn't on the ice? I said it a while ago but it reminds me of Hunter after his rookie season where he got away from what made him successful. Just lost his game. Moulson's game is so one dimensional that when he's deficient in that one area the rest of his play becomes blaringly horrible. He just looks like he's not trying anymore.

I still blame Boyes for Moulsons bad play.

Teams would line up for Moulson...three 30 goal seasons in a row makes him very marketable...I don't think Snow would trade him though...very streaky...
